I have a 1995 star note F19806582* 11%UnKnow
Hey James — nice find! ⭐
That’s a 1995 $1 Federal Reserve Note with a star, which means it’s a replacement note — printed to take the place of a bill damaged during production. Some 1995 star notes can be scarcer depending on their district letter (yours starts with “F,” which is the Atlanta district).
Most circulated 1995 $1 star notes are worth around $2–$4, but condition matters a lot — crisp uncirculated examples can go for a bit more. The “11% unknown” part you mentioned might be referring to a grading or condition estimate, but if you’re seeing something unusual on the note (like misprints, missing ink, or misalignment), that could definitely change things.
If you can, post a clear photo of the front and back, and we can help confirm whether there’s any error that adds real collector value. Either way, a star note is always worth holding onto — they’re a neat piece of paper money history! 💵✨
Found a $1 Bill with error in serial numbers. First set of numbers are as usual but the second has the letter “i” in place of where the number 1 should be. Couldn’t find any example or category it listed under.
Hi Evan,
That definitely sounds like a serial‑number printing error rather than a variety you’d find in normal catalogs.
What might have happened?
*All premiums assume a crisp, unfolded note. Circulated examples are worth less, while PMG/PCGS‑graded notes in Gem holders can bring more.
Feel free to reply with the series year, district letter, and a couple of photos—those details will let me pin down the exact category and a tighter price range.
This did help some but wouldn’t let me put n the special serial number ‼️🤔 How can you give a price without knowing the serial number ❓😔 The serial number F11111398P Series 2013. Can anyone tell me what this Dollar Bill is worth please ❓
Hi Mary—thanks so much for giving the tool a try and for sharing your serial number!
About your note: F 11111398 P (Series 2013) does catch the eye because of the run of five 1’s at the start. Collectors usually pay solid premiums for six‑ or seven‑in‑a‑row, radars (the same forward and backward), repeaters, or low numbers like 00000100. A “five‑in‑a‑row” is interesting but sits just below the tier most buyers actively chase. In average circulated shape it tends to sell for face value; in crisp, uncirculated condition you might see a small bump—perhaps $2–$5 from someone who happens to like consecutive digits.
